poop is a large theme in the childhood of jesus too. walking between malcolm and ian anxiously waiting for ian to poop today reminded me of my childhood and my anxiety when mom asked, did you poop? did you poop? and i thought it rather bitterly post ironic that i am anxiously asking after the dog, are you gonna poop? come on i'm hungry! are you gonna poop or what. i guess not today. ok then mister no treats if you don't give me poop you can't have your treats. what progress have we made today, kids?
