Last night we watched Look and See: A Portrait of Wendell Berry, and Israel Palestine On Swedish TV 1958-1989. Wendell Berry doesn't appear in the film, he stays in the background and speaks. He foregrounds the story of how industrial progress has devastated the land and community. Göran Hugo Olsson directed Israel Palestine, and spent 5 years looking at thousands of hours of video, and then watched the genocide in Gaza in real time, and said it crushed him. It's such a devastating history we're living, I wonder how it will ever end.
