Connection is where you find it, not where you expect to find it, but you have to look and see, and if you don't see it, keep looking. There's a lot of disconnection going on. Violence has affectively numbed a lot of people.  Genocide has reorganized our senses, our sense of life. Also, on the walk today we saw Ila coming with her mom and they usually avoid contact, but this time Ila was clearly wanting to connect with Lulu, and her mom saw and let it happen, and it was good. Coincidentally the song I had paused and waiting is Numb, by Kevin Richard Martin. Also, the wind is unnerving, but that's alright, I don't feel numb. I can feel.
