 To revolutionize a system in which power and impotence almost purposefully complement each other is a logical impossibility [. . .] Kafka's way of representing the dilemma seems to imply that a revolution is nevertheless necessary and that it is all the more imperative the more impossible it becomes to translate its idea into practice.
