This country is exhausted and traumatized. Is the remedy for that more Trump? Of course not — that’s hiring an arsonist to put out the fire. But as for legitimacy — legitimacy went out the window the moment the Biden administration and DOJ countenanced sedition and Trump was allowed to run again. This was never a legitimate election: it was a reinstallation.
