it was vacant land. there was nothing there. 

there is no going back. what's in the past is in the past. the old world is gone. and the old identity is gone. but we may continue living the shadow of it, because we are attached to it. but it's gone, really, and some of us may feel like we are ghosts, like we are living the life of ghosts.
