apolonia, apolonia, is a sad documentary about a failed artist. the thing about it is the film maker doesn't seem to understand the failure of her subject, and therefore the film is also a failure, but interesting nonetheless, for the psychology of how people fail to see the tragedy in their own life and the lives of others. let's talk about it.
