i'm thinking about endings and the end, like of a story. we know about when the end of a cat comes. deep down we know from kids we too will end. meanwhile we witness many endings. we know we are in an endless war on earth that inevitably will end. we're still here now, thinking metaphysically about what life is, while we are also awaiting the unknowable end.
