i got annoyed with succession but now it's coming to an end i see it's about the inevitable failure inherent in the success of capitalism. it's the tragedy of capitalism. the characters are despicable, yet sympathetic, each an individual expression of the pathology of success in a system designed to hurt people and destroy nature. success in succession is the failure of the system of all against all. the cynical slogan hope to action on the wall of a stolen park is just another expression of tragic succession.
