 the meditation is to give yourself space. remember you said you had trouble entering space? something about apologies. when you apologize a lot you're saying you don't feel self worth. you apologize for existing, for being a burden, for being in the way, for taking up vital space. it sounds crazy, given the plethora of beings. it takes all kinds, even you. nothing has to have a reason to exist. you may have been told you're nothing—well, nothing exists. that's something, really. then i read something else someone said: nothing is wrong with you—something happened. everybody who feels something dreadful is wrong. something happened to you, and something happened that is still happening in the world. you're really something, you know.
