dear william morrow,
an imprint of harper collins, hello,

i want to draw your attention to the many typos in the book all about love by bell hooks.
when bell hooks died my girlfriend told me how much she liked the book, and gave it to other friends,
despite the many typos in the original edition. now she has given me the book, which, in the 80th
printing, is still addled with typos, the same typos i might assume still malingering from 2000 to the present.
i can see how typos would creep in, but i would hope that at some point they might be winnowed
out by subsequent printings.
now that bell hooks has died maybe a new typo-free all about love
may be considered, granting the respect to the writer, the countless readers, and the numberless
trees that have gone into the life of this worthy book.
it's all about love.

thanks for reading,
best,
doug shaeffer

(post dat, my email bounced, i guess it's pretty clear they don't want feedback. so it's just in the ether. sorry bell. you deserve better.)
