i don't understand. i feel like i don't understand anything. everything is a mystery to me. i am lost in the world of human technology. what amazes me as that i've gone on so long, feeling like this, and still limping along, making a living, working it out. i feel the darkening in my photographs like a shutter closing in my heart.
