when i'm drifting sometimes, wondering what's happening in my body or in what we call the world i open a book and find a passage that might locate something in me, or me in the body of the world. when i see clouds like these i see the world as body. i feel it with my eyes. feel myself move through it like a cloud, or a sequence of clouds.
i found the companion to wittgenstein in the free box with lulu. i opened it this morning. i was thinking of what i thought last night when i was standing and peeing, listening to the train below and looking down at the green windows easing groaning clacking to a stop at the 59th street station, did you ever wish you were on a train when you are on a train? i don't know if i meant another train or the train you are on or if the train at a distance is the one, and it's the wishing that is the motion and the travel you want, your heart with your eyes with a certain distance and sound and rhythm that transports you in place.
