i wonder about evolution, in the city. it would seem there's only construction. towers over green space. is there evolution in gentrification? nature's evolving in the cities, that makes the disappointment greater about openlands, disappointment in deed, in these private rich compounds, stealing public space, canceling diversity. yet the birds are evolving shorter wings, so they can take off faster from the assfault, avoiding the crushing wheels. so this is evolution today, coexisting with hope and change, with the crush of relentless wheels, delighting in the birds that endure in our constructions over their habitat, surviving us with us today.
