here's lolo. man we saw a lot of people today. lolo couldn't see us at all. he went blind with diabetes. he wanted to go home. all he wants to do is eat. he's still a pain in the ass his dad says. that's good i say, he's still lolo. but blind. that is a real drag. yeah, we just have to make do we say, all of us do. i was thinking what if we all were blind, good thing we're not all blind, then i recalled that book blindness where everybody goes blind at once and people start crashing into each other more than usual. i'm glad you're still a pain in the ass lolo. if i go blind i don't know if i'll want to die or just get high and eat all the time.
lolo was turning away from the point but he did want to see people, especially familiar ones, from before he went blind. he may still get the picture with his nose. and he's sure nice to mister, now he's blind. he's got that blind gratitude, that judgeth not. mister's losing his sight too, and i'm thinking a lot about how we get humbled by loss, how loss, with a little philosophy, can humble into gratitude, for all we saw we see inside.
i felt the great spirit. i'm glad of everyone we met today.
