i was using trying to think of the leash benevolently, since we are out of our orbit and i just want peace. but the leash pains me. both of us are leashed and both of us are coerced and controlled by the leash. it's like occupation, both the occupier and the occupied are under occupation. is that a stretch? feel it on the leash. maybe black lives or palestinian or indigenous lives and animal lives anywhere are under far greater threat, but it's the apogee of the leash. if we listen to the victims of occupation we hear the voices of the occupier. listening to the lies of the occupier with open eyes we can see the sorrow and pain written on the occupier's face. the occupier knows that this is not the way it is supposed to be. the leash is the law, it's the law of the occupier, where one side gets richer, and no one is free. i'm going to release the leash every chance i get.
