is it foregone? is it a conclusion? i suppose nature may have been a foregone conclusion as soon as man started using tools. it could not end well. yet it can't end at all, apparently. we just don't know where the fuck it's going. it's not going well. after all that hand-wringing over sara p. doing a fb post now it's done and nothing happened. not a ripple in the signatures. but perhaps the proverbial moth flutter, some wave invisible yet has been born that seems unborn to the naked eye. we musn't despair and we must keep going. we are not concluded and nature neither. nature is much more creative than our destruction, at least that's what i feel. who knows, a lot of things do end conclusively on the way to somewhere we know not. maybe it's naive, like the undying belief we will not die. there is no end until the end. we believe in doubt yet we believe because who can imagine the alternative. no life? no more green space. i just got the book, i can't breathe. i breathe deep just writing that.
