 hey dug, it's 1:23.

oh, thankee, penny lu, for reminding me.

gargoyle is the word of the day. i wonder if there will be gargoyles on obama's tower in the park? what would they look like? would they have his sardonic grin? i said to the washtub oracle i cannot look upon this debacle with other than these sad eyes that look upon this as the sad tower at the center of the sad forsaken world.

on the way home i see beezus under the train tracks and go left to avoid. we pause by the ticket window and pose by the frozen waterfall for a picture and of course beezus is right there and chuck lunges and barks ferociously and i reel the kid in fast. there's a certain shame when a dog goes crazy. it makes you feel so ineffectual. after all this time. on the way out chuck went crazy on a dog coming in the building and somebody looked at me aghast and i thought it's just a barking dog for fuck sake, people do a lot worse, though i gotta admit i get bummed especially when i'm tired, but hey, nobody killed anybody. nobody got hurt.

word of the day, unraveling. wait, did i already use that word? that's ok. it's still the word of the day.

from here on, everywhere he goes, he will be known as genocide joe.

all we know is the human condition, even looking up at the stars, if we can see them with all the human lights. anyway the stars are always in the back of our mind. we have to live within ourselves within the human world. we have to live in and through this time.

 self and world.
