being is becoming
 emancipate yourself from mental slavery
if you meet the buddha in the road, kill him
nothing is infallible, everything is subject to inquiry
choose your own fen's zen soft koan.

in hieronymous bosch's time stupidity was thought to be cured by removing the stone of folly from one's head.

copp went back to the squirrel pumpkin tree and looked all over for his pumpkin and all he found was this duck which delighted him nonetheless. then i found the pumpkin placed high out of reach of dogs in a hollow.
my niece still refers to me as uncle duck. at the party i quacked like a fool to her baby james.
duck proud.
when we got back to the kitchen mister uncapped his duck's head searching for the stone of folly.

cognito

fear tunnel

new lamps for old

here we are again and here we go

our victims never rest, even death is not a rest.

i've never felt safer, never less safe.

and i've never felt greater love, pumpkin love.

the vast numbers of people who are under our occupation know what most of our own people do not, that we are the  preminent terror state, but growing numbers here will start to see through the smoke of obfuscation and misinformation, lies and propaganda, and we too may rise up. but the odds against freedom in such a terror state are almost overwhelming.

the rest of the world knows us more for what we are than the propaganda, a deadly force, a rogue state menacing the planet.

i always feel oppressed by these winter holidays, yet ambivalent, i got some wonderful baby love last night and my family still loves my radical ass and bless their souls and warm embrace. i hug that baby close and think, what the hell kind of world awaits him, and think, we have to provide shelter for these innocent and fragile beings, when we ourselves don't know how to navigate the treacherous world the powerful made.

i'm so grateful for my sweet baby. this morning he chased his tail and caught it whirling in a circle of himself like he did the first day i met him when he was just two.
i want to give thanks to all the people who protest and work for human liberation, and help us to survive.

forty cents of every dollar in chicago is spent on police, and they're out there harassing and killing us. i was proud of the youth who protested the murders and were jailed for free speech. the girl i listened to on whpk said they were treated like bad children, for peacefully protesting the police state.
so many police and no one is safe here. especially from the police. people are more afraid of the sate than the gangs.
they are corrupt tools of corrupt masters.
here to oppress and control the populace.

let us pray this thanksgiving for the downfall of the police state.
