Gaza sparked our region’s current attempt to vanquish forever the last few centuries of degrading exploitation, manipulation, and suffering by foreign colonial and imperial forces. The Zionist-British joint venture to steal Palestine from its Arab majority, in order to create there a Jewish home, was the last great Western colonial project; the resistance against it never ceased, and now it peaks.
