The free market sucks aquifers, burns trees, offgassing all night while the rich sleep in their air conditioned filtered dream homes, all the while spying on the sleepless on their laptops or in the necromancers' camera eyed smoky streets.

Last year, HB 2014 was passed in Congress. The bill was designed to strip power from counties and municipalities in order to facilitate state fast-tracking for the construction of data centers. Leaving locals as impotent spectators, the law allows contracts to be held confidentially and exempted from the Freedom of Information Act.
