We watched The Welcoming Table last night. It's by the fellow who made Gasland. There's something strange about the disaster. It keeps happening and we can't do anything about it. What can we do? It's like a dream we keep having, trying to do something but all within the dream. We see it and we can't keep it in mind but it's everywhere around us, it's our atmosphere. Everything we do and think, it's in the background, we're disconnected but we're in it, we say every generation says it, and the next one will address it, and no one does, the next level technology comes along and all the solutions within capitalism are capitalism and we can't wake up until it ends and then, what, we wake up still dreaming, drifting through space gazing back at the pale blue dot we left behind?
And I woke up from a dream in room that was raining inside, and I was supposed to do something, and I started washing dishes in the rain.
