Is it conceivable that what we currently experience — this chaotic, disruptive global fiasco of ecological collapse, mass media manipulation, sociopathic leaders, mind-controlled minions, collectivization vs individuation, and so on — is something that repeats in worlds across the galaxies over vast cycles of time; a process both idiosyncratic and generic, just as we find the birth of every infant to be unique yet predictable?
