now there's a wooden fence around the ephemeral wetland they tried to drain. we hope the entity has become cognizant that their attempt to banish the water was bound to fail, and now they will in their belated wisdom allow it to become a natural ephemeral wetland. if anyone knows better please enlighten doug.
