it's 93 degrees at 6:03. getting hotter as the evening comes. i think we have enough leftovers. several people died in the lake in the last 2 days. i said i'm going to jump in the lake and someone playing mah jong in the board room said there's a rip tide! it was utterly calm at pebble beach but the water was quite cold for late june. i swam anyway and it was lovely.
