um, penny lu? i have to tell you a cat is coming in here, just for a couple days. it's a cat in distress. i don't think you would mind, since you're not here. it will be weird. the cat will smell you and probably look around to see if you're hiding somewhere. i still say goodnight and good morning to you. you are a presence in this apartment, not just a smell, and even if and when we do get a cat for good, we will always think of you.
