update on maw. she's in the place and her husband wants out but he can't go home again. maw picked him up when we crashed our vw on the highway. he was the security guard at the hospital, fifty years ago. that was a bad crash. the car was smashed like an accordion. fifty plus years on they're in a memory ward in the middle of florida and there's no escape from the crash.
