when we crossed the midway the lab kids were playing and i remembered when breonna taylor and george floyd and others were murdered by the police the lab kids made a memorial at the base of the horseman statue and then it was all erased and i missed it and wondered what happened to black lives matter in the lab kids minds and now the government is killing thousands of palestinians and i wonder what the lab kids think. i know kids shouldn't have to think of kids being murdered by the government but i wish they could keep playing in the early spring sun and also have a memorial for the victims of state murder or genocide whether here or in palestine.
