i stopped reading the scott walker book. we can stop some things, things we do and don't want to do any longer. i have a stream of books flowing to me from the beautiful sacred and profane library system stream. scott walker's music is fascinating, but like he said it's not something he can talk about, it's in the music. the book is earnestly trying to posit some super heady context for the music. i prefer the music. i'm reading kairos by jenny erpenbeck now. that, i'm sure, will be a whole different story.
