i forgot to pull my solstice birthday rune yesterday. we were watching riotsville, usa, and then i was too tired. two rune stones stuck to my hand in the pouch and i chose the left one, wunjo, joy and light. it says a shift has occurred, an alchemical moment when understanding is transmuted from knowledge. the reverse side says things are arduous, slow in coming, and fears arise for the child. a crisis is at hand. everything is a test you can't fail.
