charlie's back from indiana, and i got a spasm in my back. she seems impervious to cold and her enthusiasm is catchy. but i've been lazy with one dog and a big biography of w.g. sebald and no stretching and one lefty throw of the purple squeaky ball threw me for a loop. i did some arnica and aléve and i'm off to the lulu. pray for my back and soul.
