fen greeted me at the door today. fen took me on a ramble. i wish i had a sky-cam of our circuitous route. it might look like a vole trail under snow. not sure if he was feeling good or disoriented and trying to get back home. ha, maybe both. i gave him his head to see what he had in mind but after a while i was sweaty and getting a bit light in the head myself so i started steering him by voice and hand like a four-legged earth kite. his eyes may be a little cloudy. his hips may be a little wonky. but he's my same old space monkey and i love him for dear life.
