i wonder how comet is this morning. i'll check in a minute. i hope he had a little breakfast. i hope he will be able to go to the winter park. i hope he isn't afraid. i hope he doesn't hurt.

the obomba complex will be a tortuous tale if it is ever told.

obama has taken the park and they started cutting down trees yesterday. i heard the saws but i couldn't look. i walked the other way. wanted to keep a record. thought what's the point of documenting dead trees and a big hole where a tower will rise. yet i can't look away. there will be a time when i will always walk away from obamaland i imagine, but i'll still hear the encroaching sound of saws when it's done.

the trees marked for kill, color coded, some will be repurposed for furniture in obama's conning complex. they say they will try to save two trees out of the 800 some to be killed. they never counted the drone deaths. anyway i should get some pictures after i get burning man from the library.

i was thinking only of comet yesterday though, of how little time we have. some of those trees had 100 years or more. the emptiness they leave.

the emptiness comet will leave.

more is uncounted than counted, some count more than others, like obama, his true toll is uncounted, and he counts more as he takes and is unaccountable, as the victims of land theft and war are unaccounted for, as everything, no matter how disregarded or how taken for dead, counts.

i didn't expect to get to the park again with comet but when he turned that direction i knew that's where he wanted to go. i saw a person and a dog that were familiar and she asked about comet and i asked her dog's name and it's alice and from that i knew the person is elizabeth. comet was chewing grass along the fence and didn't seem to notice alice, and alice was pointed on but then she responded to me briefly without much ado. elizabeth doesn't remember, and i remembered that each time we met it was the same. it took me a little while to remember, but i knew she couldn't. today she asked if i was a teacher. i told her i just walk dogs and she asked if i could make a living like that. we talked about all the cataclysms and deaths this past year. i don't know if she remembers the pandemic, but she said yeah, she's getting divorced after 25 years. she'd like to find an intelligent man she says. that's tricky, i say.

i will miss the time with comet in the park.

imagine if we knew everything that's going to happen before it did? comet took me all the way to the park. on the way i said if you get tired i'll carry you. he did it himself. he knows. he's still here, still comet, but he has the faraway look sometimes. he knows. still hungry for the world he knows.

what’s the deal with all these war criminals who get to walk around free

like that president who lied about wmd
hundreds of thousands of people are lying in their graves
celebrities are calling him
the sweet new friend they made
what’s the deal with all these war criminals out walkin’ around free
