The word of the day is Pleonexia. I read it this morning in a post about the end of the u.s. empire. The reason we can't make sense of what is happening is it makes no sense. It's a psychiatric disorder characterized by greediness, an excessive desire for acquisition of wealth or objects. The only sense we can make of post-humanism is perhaps the human project must end itself because it's unnatural, it makes no sense in terms of the natural, and only, world.
