The recent American eclipse sequence gives tomorrows’ event more context. On August 21, 2017, a total solar eclipse crossed the continental United States from Oregon to South Carolina. It occurred in Leo, the sign traditionally associated with kingship, sovereignty, public authority, charisma and leadership. Astrologers paid particular attention to it because of the old mundane-astrology principle that an eclipse bears most strongly on the countries beneath its path.
