one day to the next it's fall, it feels like the fall. about a year ago in human time jaspie left his body. we watched him slowly departing until the day he conveyed to us that it was time to go. we grieve differently each animal friend, we grieve them as they were to us in life. we're watching penny lu now, pressing our ears to her side, feeling her heart beat, hearing her purr as the love we'll miss as we live and carry on hearing inside.
