i was talking to a guy about the tower in the park and we both said it looks like a prison. with the grim granite cladding it looks like a high-rise mausoleum. maybe one day it'll be repurposed as a prison with obama's penthouse mausoleum on top, his slogans carved in stone illuminated from behind. maybe it'll be a ghost tower covered with lichen and ivy and cliff swallow and kestrel nests.
