i'm on alert for the beagle guy possible zionist and i saw him from a distance and called charlie near but then she ran to another dog. i realized i need to work on recall and wait. she's been accustomed to freedom in the quadrangle and she wants to meet everyone. usually i sense when people don't want to socialize their dogs, but i need to impress on charlie that when i say stay she needs to listen to me. i play it loose and instinctive and rely on the dog's good sense, but they may assume that everyone is cool and not everyone is. there are haters among us.
