so harry tells me there's a word for when you see something in a scene that would otherwise be a random field of shapes. pareidolia. the mind wants to make sense of what the eye sees. often i want to see the little figures in the world-building for scale and to imagine what they may be thinking, or let them embody my thoughts about the world-building project they're captive in. thanks, harry, for seeing along with me.
