i was distracted during the talk today about my weil. lars was talking so intensely (and penny was yelling bloody murder) and i couldn't focus on the words. the other fellow i understood, but i can't recall now much of what was said. i suppose like a dream i have a residual feeling, and maybe when i read the book i'll be able to focus on the words and meaning. i should say also i have trouble with intellectual talk. lars said he always wanted to be lofty but realized he had to talk about ordinary life.
