americans are conditioned to equate pointing out injustice with “whining”. the mechanism of oppression influences how you interpret the transgressions you’re forced to endure. the result is that these individuals engage in self-censorship and decline to address real social problems for no other reason than they do not wish to endure the unfair, preconditioned response.

we’ve got to change that.
