i heard the story of when a cop pulled up on the midway and said put your dog on a leash. benny was just minding his own business, pooping, and friedl said he's good, he's not doing anything wrong, and the cop jumped out of the car gun drawn and said put your dog on a leash or i'll kill him. then he wrote a ticket and said you're lucky your dog is alive. she went to court to argue the ticket and of course the cop didn't show and it was tossed in the garbage where the cop belongs. it happened a while ago but it burns my mind today. thank dog benny lives.
