there are still viable options for mr. obomba. he doesn't have to steal the jewel of our green legacy. mr. obomba doesn't need to plant his tower of artificially illuminated hubris in our nature sanctuary. but he is the ex-president of the world, a prime predator, and used to getting his way, or else. or else what? he could suddenly have a dream, awake humble, and site his complex in a free zone barren now where life and community could grow. he has so much money, he could help us all. he could make some hope and change and leave a growing legacy, rather than a crass, gargantuan symbol of wealth and power in the people's park and nature sanctuary. he could leave a legacy of love instead of a compound of conquest and occupation. he could set an example for a different president. however, we know what he has stood for, we know the lay of the land, we know gentrification, we know the real estate, we know the status quo, and we will have to abide what comes or step aside, and watch our place be built upon.
i s'pose it's all been said, but i feel the need to say. today
