obomba's illuminated tower in the park will be fatal light to songbirds who migrate at night.

if you turn off lights you save birds lives.

birds don't perceive glass. what they're seeing is the refection of the environment that they're in, or they're seeing a clear passage to something on the other side of that transparent glass.
the more natural the environment, the greater the threat.
one of our records for daytime is over 500 birds over a 6 hour period at just 2 structures. you can stand at the base of these structures and catch the birds as they fall.
