schopenhauer, the pessimist, wrote about the goodness of dogs: " i would have no pleasure living in a world where dogs did not exist."
depressed, and prey to phobias, he alternated portraits of dogs with portraits of great philosophers on his walls of his little apartment in frankfurt.

days of wind, days of anger, waves, the head, the wind, the headwind.


there is no where to hide from the wind and it is increasing. there are wind tunnels through the buildings and they are bristling with cars. how can we navigate this wind.
