goodbye language. i've been ambivalent or annoyed with jean-luc godard for decades yet i really did like goodbye to language. in interview he sounds almost the same as he ever did, but he's making sense too. i think he always understood human were highly irrational and destructive and other humans are cottoning on to that fact more and more as the marauders take more of ever decreasing natural wealth to foster their sick souls and societies, and his Art is now in its eighties, and still fresh and inventive, while mellowed into a more communicative, nuanced expression. ok that's too many words. how about, yay, jean-luc!

philosophy is a being, the heart of this being being the question of its being, the heart of this being. the heart of this being suggests another being, another mode, that civilization has outmoded.
