it was a day. too much happened for a weary mind. except the good parts, there's never too much. we played with a dog named pavlov, a new shy rescue with one brown eye with a black patch like a smudged shiner, who relaxed and really let go running googly with long tongue lolling side to side so happy. then we played with a lot of kids and it was so mellow and sweet and we got to meet an autistic boy who was a little fearful and more curious. his little sister grace was fearless , and acts as his world tester and eases his way. so sweet, i was proud of them and their mother and grandma who want them both to feel free to explore. once a lady with an autistic goup said, no, autistic kids can't handle dogs, they're terrified. not true. they are bright and fascinated. and fascinating. i mentioned the book Why I Jump and she read it too. later i yelled at a guy whose dog harrassed comet and who called me faggot and loser. but the rest of the day was remarkably peaceful and joyful.

grace and comet.

a kid who's name i couldn't understand. the same who rode all around the outside of the park on his big wheel, who's mom also was very free and trusting and why the kid's so open and adventurous.

talking hand to dog.

pre-teenage mutant ninja turtle girl.

he kept on talking to the dog and i couldn't understand a thing but the dog understands the universal tongue so i just nod and smile and talk the way i do.

i don't know if grace understood but kids probably understand in essence being closer to the mother well of all language too.

yeah, i know, i say, i can definitely dig what you're saying, say on, my brother.

so here's to independent spirit and urban nature and talkin' 'bout dogs.

oh i also saw fabio again but this time i's cameraless doggonit!
