i think the architects had something else in mind, and this is what obama had in mind. it kept getting higher, more imposing. this is his brain concretized. he may not have thought of fascist architecture, it may just be the expression of his innate sensibility. it sure is intimidating, it sure does dominate the landscape. it's a beacon alright, not of democracy, but of the settler-colonial american power elite, built on top of the stolen park.
