Tomorrow, after mother's day, we'll go look again for the spot for Trudy and Sepp, and we'll see all the balloons and plastic flowers and wince. While I wait for the next five books in my library queue I'm reading Bowstring: On the Dissimilarity of the Similar by Viktor Shlovsky which has been sitting around for years and survived the big book purge, and Desperate Characters by Paula Fox which I may read again sober.
