ronan's a complex character, i think, or is he obtuse? when he was a kid he played with lulu, and then he ceased playing, and just wanted to wander. years later, lulu still tries with all her heart to engage ronan in play. one time he got mad and barked her off and we were freaked out, but lulu didn't mind, she just keeps on trying.
